Growth in the account is therefore critical to the future growth of Savvis and providing innovative pricing models is crucial to the success of our strategic partnership. This is a senior position which will provide Americas specific deal support as well as support the strategic global oversight of Thomson Reuters pricing for all services. You will be part of a commercially focused pricing team central to maintaining and increasing revenue and profitability targets for the account and Savvis as a whole.This position will report to TR Pricing Manager but the candidate will also be an integral part of the Thomson Reuters account team and will be expected to:Participate in appropriate account team and client meetings.Work with the TR Pricing Manager to ensure consistency in pricing methodologies and approach used for the Thomson Reuters business unit.Work with procurement and product managers to review alternative purchasing and quote turnaround methods which can help meet the customer’s price point requirements while maintaining corporate margins.Engage closely with Thomson Reuters Americas business units to understand their pricing requirements and how best to structure the Savvis proposition to meet both companies financial objectives. Provide accurate financial modeling of margins and risk on a deal by deal basis as well as consolidated across sub-deals which make up a complete offering. Be able to articulate the profitability of a particular deal set to the business. Be creative with deal structuring for new opportunities. Be responsible for providing local pricing support to the TR account team in accordance with agreed commercial / pricing models.Provide tactical, day-to-day and standard pricing support to the Thomson Reuters sales teams for outsourced managed hosting, co-location, cloud and network services. Identify and drive improvements to help streamline the process.Work with the Senior Offer Development Manager to ensure pricing is produced in conjunction with contractual terms or to support the creation of new terms and conditions around the commercials on new deals when applicable.Position Summary:Key responsibility areas:Take ownership of Thomson Reuters Americas pricing RFPs and quotes, to include working as an integral part of bid response teams and discussing pricing with Thomson Reuters as required. Provide support to Thomson Reuters global pricing teams on similar tasks when required.Complete contribution analysis for RFPs and quotes prior to submissionWork with the Savvis internal teams to ensure that downstream organizations are aware of the correct BOM’s and SKU’s used to create the quotes are used to procure and deliver the services.Take pricing ownership of the quote lifecycle in Americas region .Develop pricing models and options to enhance Savvis’ ability to price product sets quickly, accurately and responsively for Thomson Reuters.Maintain and update Thomson Reuters price book and cost base in Americas region within SAVVIS’ internal pricing tools and customer facing price book.Report on performance against KPI’s and OLA’s as applicable for the role in region and GloballyEssential Duties include:Support the Americas region Thomson Reuters account team in providing timely pricing for all business.Pricing custom services in collaboration with consulting services, procurement and service management.Provide margin analysis and summary information as per Global Fiscal Policy.Pricing and reviewing low value change quotes within 48 hour OLAProvide pricing to bids responses and RFPsSupport of global Thomson Reuters Pricing teamMinimum Requirements:The Senior Pricing Analyst should possess:Minimum 5 years related experience in IT or telecoms – preferably in pricing, management accounting or FP&A roles.Advanced degree or a Bachelor’s degree & equivalent combination of education and experience.
