Technical and analytical support associated with managed care market assessments, data analysis, pricing profiling, tool development and advancement, internal and external education around pricing logic. Individual will have interaction with client management and support functions. Anticipate individual will be working independently on-site during engagements.Qualifications:Working knowledge of commercial and government inpatient and outpatient payment logic and terms, which include CMS MS-DRG and APC grouping methodology and payment constructs, TriCare APR-DRG, ICD-9 procedure codes, Revenue Codes, and CPT-4 codes.Familiarity with major payers, insurance companies, benefits consultants, and third party payers.Experience using data base and analytical software (e.g., Access, Excel, Word, and SPSS).Minimum Qualifications: (including years of experience preferred):• 4 year college degree or higher.• 3-5 years health care experience.• Preferred experience in hospital sector.• Willingness and ability to travel to client location, estimated at 15-35%.EOEM/F/D/VJ2W:MON1Posted 7/16/12
