Details: PURCHASING SENIOR BUYER LEWISTON, IDAHO The Senior Buyer is responsible for supply management of materials and services from the procurement process through the materials disposition upon job or project completion and ensuring services capabilities and materials fully meet the needs of the site engineering, maintenance, and operations partners. Key accountabilities include procurement, supply stream management, issue resolution and mill support. Minimum qualifications include: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Engineering preferred. Certified Purchasing Management Certification preferred. Minimum 5 years experience in accounting, maintenance operations, materials management, or purchasing in an industrial environment required. Knowledge of IATA and DOT regulations for the shipping of Dangerous goods required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office word and excel. Intermediate knowledge of JD Edwards or a similar Computerized Maintenance Management System. Must have strong analytical skills and strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and multi task.
