Buyer- Third Party Labor

The company?s Electronic Health Record, practice management and other clinical, revenue cycle, connectivity and information solutions create a Connected Community of Health? for physicians, hospitals and post-acute organizations.This Senior Buyer position reports to Corporate Procurement leadership and is responsible for managing procurement activities for labor and services related to third party Professional Services, Outsourcing and Temporary Staffing needs. This includes providing internal customers with advice and support with execution of the full procurement process. This role supports the achievement of multiple organization objectives and contributes to the planning and implementation of functional goals and the delivery of procurement/sourcing requirements. A key aspect of the role is securing the most suitable third party consulting candidates. This position serves as the ?face of Allscripts? to Eclipsys partners and third party consultants, managing day to day interactions and client expectations.Roles and Responsibilities:•Implement sourcing/procurement strategies within his/her area of responsibility to support corporate objectives supporting the organization's need for a diverse and globally competitive supply base (R)•Implement and ensure compliance with all relevant Procurement Policies and Procedures (A, R)•Define, maintain and communicate third party staffing processes (R)•Work closely with Leadership Team to appropriately staff projects in a timely manner (R)•Manage special internal purchasing projects (A)•Align the purchasing process and customer/client Statement of Work to maximize customer value (R).•Provide purchasing input to suppliers and customers in order to effectively manage contracts (R)•Manage and maintain supplier relationships, support pre and post-tender negotiations (R)•Maintain relationships with cross functional areas such as: A/P, HR, Legal and MIS (R)•Manage cost, quality, and delivery of Supplier performance (R)•Manage spend on a global level (R)•Provide monthly or quarterly reporting for product area as required (R)•Establish effective internal relationships to support short and long term sourcing staffing needs (R)•Maintain Purchasing files which include vendor costs, reporting metrics concerning fill rates, supplier performance, asset availability (R)•Provide customers with counsel on the full procurement process (R)
