Details: LifeWay Christian Stores in Nashville, TN, a retail chain of over 160 stores nationwide, is seeking a Music Buyer at its corporate office in Nashville, TN. We provide a unique opportunity for energetic individuals with a challenging career in ministry and professional growth. This position will lead in the development, in-season review, and maintenance of merchandise plans to include the review, selection, and management of music products.  Responsibilities include:   Develop and execute plans to grow assigned product category. Establish, maintain, and grow vendor relationships. Negotiate with vendors for favorable terms and discounts. Development and implementation of promotional strategies. Consult with store managers to determine trends and local needs (i.e., problems and suggestions) through periodic store visits. Work with inventory specialists to adjust store assortments when appropriate. Ability to travel less than 10% of the time. Assure adherence to merchandise policies and procedures.
