Other duties may be assigned. Using ERP system plan and schedule delivery dates and quantities of material to support Acute Care inventory and production requirements. Quality system duties and responsibilities: Knowledgeable and supportive of the company quality policy Knows and practice the following: The applicable quality system requirements as documented in the company quality assurance manual The associated standard operating procedures (SOPs) The associated instructional level documents Maintain ongoing communications and/or visits to Suppliers to ensure keeping up with manufacturing technology and keep current on the integrity and financial health of our vendors. Actively pursue cost savings value analysis opportunities to ensure Acute Care maintains the most cost-effective purchases. Manage inventory investment to satisfy financial goals, meet all customer demands and accommodate warehouse capacity. Work in collaboration with quality assurance and engineering to resolve supplier issues. Maintain MRP planning parameters. Overnight travel required for projects/duties to be completed at other Company sites.
