Candidates should have extensive pricing management experience with the ability accelerate adoption of products and generate profitable revenue streams with value-oriented pricing and packaging approaches. Initiative, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a matrix environment are essential. Minimum 5-7 years related industry experience in pricing and software licensing. The Product Manager is responsible managing a portfolio of pricing and licensing initiatives. They are responsible for all aspects of these offers from concept to definition to introduction. They will have experience in market analysis, offer definition, pricing strategies and new product introduction. The Product Manager is well versed in software licensing, leveraging pricing to maximize value capture and has a rich history of successful product launches. They are energetic and personable, and thrive in a dynamic environment. The Product Manager is able to envision the "big picture" and interact with executive, business and functional leadership to craft offers and pricing strategy to achieve core business objectives. They leverage their expertise to drive decisions. The Product Manager is able to analyze markets, define strategies and lead offer introductions that have global impact to the organization in a cross-functional, matrix management environment. The specific responsibilities of the Product Manager are: Create pricing strategy and manage rollout of new pricing initiatives Work with individual product and business teams to price compelling product packages for various solutions and segments Work with cross functional team to drive successful new product introduction Team with sales reps to develop customized proposals for large customers Develop and monitor metrics to measure the effectiveness of initiatives Track and report pricing trends on a regular basis Requirements: BS degree, preferably in finance or economics. 7 years of experience in the high tech industry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing strategy and offer management. Strong data analysis, financial modeling and forecasting skills Strong working knowledge of service and software industry pricing Familiarity with statistical analysis and business analysis techniques Strong Excel and database skills Experience solving complex cross-organizational issues, including the development of recommendations to senior management. Experience in leading large, cross-functional initiatives or deployments. Proficiency in leading with global programs and geographic deployments Ability to develop effective Executive Level communications and presentation material. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels. Be self-motivated, self-reliant, and a self-starter with the ability to achieve broadly communicated objectives under a minimal amount of supervision.
