FXI is a leading producer of foam innovation for the Home, Healthcare, Electronics, Industrial, Personal Care and Transportation Markets. Our products include finished goods, sub-assemblies, services and raw materials for OEMs, fabricators and retailers. You will find FXI's foam innovations inside, around and under yourself in countless applications. We protect automobile passengers on the highway and fragile electronic components in shipment. We help consumers sleep sounder and furniture manufacturers create comfort. We provide for sharper images in digital printers and copiers and help consumers keep their homes clean. We provide critical components for filters, dispensers, gaskets and seals in everything from blood oxygenators to computer disk drives. Reporting to the Director of Purchasing, you will join a team that includes two other Buyers, and is part of a supply chain organization that is transitioning from a distributed model to a centralized one. This is part of the overall process re-engineering that is touching all aspects of FXI and setting us up for strong growth. You will focus on materials such as fabrics, covers and corrugated, as well as MRO goods and services, ranging from pumps and motors to office supplies. Your mission will be to ensure these materials are properly sourced at the most competitive price and flowing smoothly through our processes. In many cases we already have contracts and agreements, but if it's something we haven't sourced before, you'll handle sourcing and negotiations
