Details: Haas Group International is the first integrated, global chemical business offering traditional Chemical Management Services, Product Distribution, Logistics/Warehousing and Hazardous Communication Services to a diverse range of customers in aerospace & defense, automotive, manufacturing, electronics, government, health care and other sectors. We are currently seeking a Buyer in our West Chester, PA Headquarters. The Buyer is responsible for the procurement of products and services to meet our customer requirements. He/She will work with suppliers and staff to affect the best value to our customers, balancing price, lead time logistics and on-time delivery of products. Individual Responsibilities: Create Purchase Orders according to Corporate Guidelines and Policy Execute Product Category Purchase Strategies Focus on Cost Savings/Cost Containment Review, monitor & expedite Open PO’s to ensure on-time deliveries Timely responses to requests for information from Manager/Hub/Client i.e. product non-conformances, material expedite requests, etc.. Monitor and report positive and negative feedback of vendor performance Keep management apprised of market trends in terms of price and availability Seek out potential suppliers on an ongoing basis that can help the company improve its competitive status in terms of price, delivery, technology, etc. Resolve AP exceptions where supplier invoices do not match issued PO Complete special projects as required. Other duties as assigned by Manager per specific hub/client/team.
