Details: Job Function : Operations/Securities Manager Position : Non-manager Standard Hours : 40 Exempt/Non-Exempt : Non-Exempt Regular/Temporary : Regular This is a key role for a highly skilled individual to contribute to an expanding traditional and alternatives fund administration firm. The Pricing team is responsible for providing validated securities pricing for the purposes of NAV calculation, Custody record keeping, fund manager reporting and back office sourcing. You will be expected to have a thorough knowledge of a range of different vendors, Bloomberg, Interactive Data, Reuters and S&P amongst others. You will be expected to know and to demonstrate knowledge of current regulatory guidelines for the valuation of assets in CIVs.Every partner in Data Management is expected to follow the policies and procedures outlined by the unit. The goal of these policies and procedures is to ensure a consistent level of service across all our operating centers. Every Pricing Analyst is expected to deliver professional servicing. This includes (but is not limited to) a clear and articulate response to queries based on fact, a reason or description that supports our response and the willingness to help further address any other questions. This is to support or goal to be more collaborative with our partners and raising the service level from a gatherer of information to a qualifier of information. Senior Pricing Analysts have a pivotal role in this relationship.You will have close contact with Fund Accounting (Traditional and Alternatives), Pooling, Corporate Actions, Management & Financial Reporting as well as working with counterparts in London, Bangalore and Ireland. You will also be involved in best practices, internal consulting/pricing product in support of valuations. You will interact with staff in analyzing existing operational procedures and interpreting how client needs can be better met. Possess an excellent knowledge of a wide variety of instruments from an accounting, trade and asset valuation perspective. You will be flexible and adaptable to changing business requirements. Senior Pricing Analysts are seen as the go to people to help resolve operational challenges. You must be able to work methodically and on your own initiative.
