Details: - Prepares RFQ’s, evaluates bids, negotiates prices with suppliers in support of Company objectives-Selects suppliers based on total cost of ownership including quality and delivery performance-Selects suppliers for new products and utilizes ERP to ensure material availability in support of the production schedule-Places initial purchase orders from approved requisitions-Performs other tactical duties as required to optimize material flow and negotiates lead-time constraints to negate missed commitment dates.-Reviews all delivery issues and takes appropriate corrective action to avoid schedule impact-Supports continuous improvement of procurement processes
