Details: Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced helicopters for commercial, industrial and military uses. Sikorsky helicopters are used by all five branches of the United States armed forces, along with military services and commercial operators in more than 40 nations. Based in Stratford, Connecticut, USA, Sikorsky has outlying facilities in other Connecticut locations as well as in Florida and Alabama. Interact daily with FRC-E Production Controllers and ensure material is delivered on schedule twice per day each work day. Provide coordination of 3PL personnel tasked with warehousing and delivering material to FRC-E work centers. Provide oversight and guidance to 3PL personnel during receiving inspection processes ensuring material is received in a ready for issue condition and promptly received and stored on location. Report all non-conforming material issues to SAS Quality,initiate material returns and support subsequent investigations. Track daily material usage by interfacing and following-up with gov't material analyst counterparts toward determining any problems, shortages and/or configuration substitutions. Ensure strict adherance to "quantities per assembly" as material is issued from the warehouse to the shop ensuring 100% accountability for material cashed to sales orders. Track the diverting of material ensuring 100% accountability when substitutions occur and prevent the creation of orphan WIP in the process. Additionally, track, review and fill fleet requistions for end item components ensuring on-time deliveries as stock permits. Perform various other tasks as directed by the program manager.
